AKD Engineering Ltd has been dedicated to providing timely, cost effective, top quality fabrication and machining services to a wide range of market sectors since it was established in Lowestoft, which is in Suffolk, UK, in 1955 and proudly continues to do so.

In 2004 AKD Engineering had modern premises purpose built on 7.5 acres to cope with the continual growth and to suit customer needs. The extent of this site together with the range of facilities and highly experienced and dedicated workforce on board, allows AKD Engineering to tender competitively for jobs ranging from general machining and fabrication through to design, manufacture, assembly and testing of sophisticated large scale projects to a wide range of industries.  Also AKD Engineering have a further dockside facility providing direct barge load out capabilities when necessary.

AKD Engineering is approved to BS EN ISO 9001:2008 and has adopted a robust management system. AKD Engineering prides itself on being focused on Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and the Environment and is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for employees, contractors, visitors and neighbours.
