Established in 1955, AKD have been providing medium to heavy fabrication, machining and assembly services to a wide range of industries. Primarily serving the oil and gas industry however committed to the future and keen to continue to diversify further into other industries, such as renewables, nuclear and defence.   Based in Lowestoft, which is in Suffolk, UK, the AKD site spans some 7.5 acres and over recent years has benefited from continuous investment making it one of the best equipped facilities of its type.  AKD’s premises also have access to adjacent dockside facilities providing direct barge load out capabilities when necessary.

AKD’s quality management system conforms to BS EN ISO 9001:2008 and has been continuously certified by BSI since 1985.
